12 Feb Pineapple Cilantro Pork Chops {Gluten Free}
If you are just needing something new to your mundane weekly repertoire, try these sweet and savory pineapple cilantro pork chops. I’m giving you big flavor without a preservative and sugar-filled store-bought marinade. We don’t eat much pork in our home, but some things are good in moderation! I realize some cultures love it and others avoid it. Like all other meat, quality is key!
If you don’t have a trustworthy butcher who carries quality raised meats, you can always go through Butcher Box!. Butcher box usually carries good quality pork because it’s hard to find good quality pork in the store. Try your nearest Whole Foods to see what options they carry!
You could easily make this recipe with fish, chicken breasts, or thighs. Yum! Feel free to get creative here!
I would personally pair this with forbidden rice and snap peas. Forbidden rice has so many nutritional benefits. It is often considered a superfood because of its high nutritional content,+ high in anthocyanins. It’s even considered a blood tonic in ancient Chinese medicine.
Here is the recipe for our delicious pineapple glazed salmon.
