07 Jan Honey Buttered Carrots
I’ve been posting so many main dishes that I’m thinking you need me to switch it up and post some side dishes too! These honey buttered carrots are some of our favorite ways to eat carrots! The kids approve too!
As you can see with the grass-fed butter and raw honey measurements in the recipe below..I don’t have any because I never measure and this recipe is so easy to just throw together, put your dang measurement tools away! 😉
All I did was slice some butter {I use Kerrygold} and place the butter on top of the carrots in various places on the pan.
With the honey, I literally just did a light-medium drizzle over all of it. Who wants to put honey in a measuring spoon and spread it around? There is no need – it’s just more dishes and more stress. There is no perfect amount. Totally up to you! Just don’t do a really thick drizzle…..unless you really really want to.
We actually ate this with our honey mustard chicken!
Honey Buttered Carrots
Ingredients
- 6 Carrots Sliced
- Raw Honey
- Butter Grass-Fed
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Lay parchment paper on a baking sheet and put the carrots on the sheet.
- Take about 6-7 slices of butter and place it on top of the carrots in various places on the pan. (You don’t have to be exact!) When it melts it will spread out.
- Next, drizzle honey on top of the carrots. Again, don’t have to be exact. I made sure my carrots were covered with honey pretty well with a light-medium drizzle.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes!
- Top with a tsp of cinnamon and mix well!
