Picky Eater Tips {w/ Holistic Leigh}

Do you have a picky eater? Do you feel as a parent that picky eating is just the end all be all for every toddler? Are you at your wits end and feel hopeless in this subject along with your busyness and fast pace of life? Here we give practical tips for what will work as a long term balance without creating stress. As parents, we are the gatekeepers to our children’s health and nourishment. It’s an important ball we need to start rolling for future generations.

We chat with Leah about having a picky eater, tips, tricks, and how to nourish your kids with wholesome foods. Who wants to fight at dinnertime?! I know we don’t!

We have rebranded to Nuvitru Wellness!

Here are some of Leah’s Top Tips

  • Lead by example: Kids are paying attention and are sponges when it comes to normalizing healthy foods. If they see you eating nourishing foods, they will be more likely to nomalize this. Even something so simple as to drinking water when you wake up! Did you even realize this can be fun with a contest or a fun cup? Juices are full of sugar and can be dehyrating.
  • Make it fun!!- Get creative when approaching with a new idea. Maybe it’s a special cup, plate they pick out at Target. Bring your favorite character to the table and role play.
  • Give a dip- Yet keep it healthy and not full of preservatives. We love hummus, guacamole, peanut butter, organic ketchup, primal kitchen avocado oil ranch.
