You can read more about the health benefits elderberry provides, plus hydrating coconut water AND gelatin!
Let’s dive into some benefits of gelatin real quick:
- Improves & promotes a healthy gut lining (Which is great if you suffer from leaky gut!)
- Protects joints (Also great if you suffer from arthritis!)
- Reduces wrinkles (Due to the collagen that gelatin provides. Collagen is one of the most important building blocks for healthy radiant skin!)

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cup Elderberry Syrup (Heated & Warm)
- 1 1/2 Cup Coconut Water Lemonade
- 1/2 Cup Gelatin Powder
- 100 Pack of Straws
- Mason Jar
Directions
- Make some homemade elderberry syrup (follow directions from link above).
- While the elderberry syrup is cooking, take the straws and stretch out the bendy part.
- Pack all the straws in a mason jar (bendy part at the bottom of the jar).
- When the syrup is done and it’s still warm, mix the gelatin and elderberry syrup in a new bowl.
- Once the gelatin is dissolved in the elderberry syrup, add the coconut water and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the straws. You don’t have to be anal about filling up every single straw. As you pour the mix into the straws, some will come out the bottom of the straws and fill up the mason jar – that’s okay! 🙂 Just keep filling it up.
- Place in the fridge overnight.
- After it’s been sitting in the fridge for 24 hours, you’ll take out a straw one by one and run each one through some warm water to loosen up the worm inside. Next, you’ll squeeze out the worm working from the top of the straw to the bottom. You can use your finger for each one or you can take a couple and use a roller pin to get the worm out.
- ENJOY! Keep in fridge!
