16 Jul Infinity Jars: A Glass That Will Keep Foods Good Longer
You’re probably thinking…..what jar could possibly keep my food better for a longer period of time? Well, I found one. And I love it. I’m sure if you use fresh herbs, you’ve come across the problem of them going bad before you get to use it all up. I love fresh herbs + I use them + I felt like I’ve tried a lot to keep them fresh for the longest time, but I never had any success.
So, this really awesome company, Infinity Jars, reached out to me and offered to send me some free jars to try out. How can I say no because their website looked promising! Infinity jars have an air tight seal and ultraviolet filtering and super thick glass. They used the idea of how ancient Eygptians preserved things, like herbs and oils. This is on their website + it really got me intrigued…
So, I decided to put these to the test! I tested out cilantro first (because I love cilantro, but it goes bad fast). I filled up one of the jars they sent me, specifically the (250mL screw top one!), and left it at the top of the fridge. I did use some cilantro, but really wanted to leave as much in there to see if it works.
A couple weeks went by and I opened it and the cilantro STAYED THE SAME. For sure, it would’ve gone bad in a plastic bag in the fridge. Now, don’t get me wrong, nutrients will naturally decline from the moment it’s picked from the plant/soil. BUT, it was really nice to see cilantro still worthy of using and not slimy rotted in my trash can.
Am I sold? YES! I love these! And I highly recommend at least a couple of these in each household. They have an array of glass jars and bottles that you would need. They have regular screw top jars, cosmetic jars/bottles, essential oil roller bottles, push pump bottles, dropper bottles, spray bottles, kitchen bottles, etc. Want to the check them out?
